Zhimin Ding is the founder and CEO of Anitoa Systems, LLC, a provider of biosensors and system solutions for point-of-care molecular diagnostics. It has offices in Silicon Valley and in Shaoxing, China. Zhimin was previous the chief architect of SST, an embedded flash technology company later acquired by Microchip Corp. Prior to that, he worked for Beckman Institute and Philips Semiconductors and then help run a startup Emosyn, LLC. He has deep expertise in systems, device and software. Lately he has been applying these techniques to molecular testing in medical and life science applications. He earned a PhD in Electric Engineering and Neuroscience from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Bachelors in EE from Tsinghua University, China. In 1996, while a graduate student, he won first prize in the “American by Design” competition sponsored by EETimes, TI and Motorola.
