SUE RAFTERY, PhD
Dr. Sue Raftery is a graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Agriculture, in Agricultural Economics &Rural Sociology with over 20 years of experience in economic and community development projects, including 10 years of start- up, entrepreneurial experience.
Sue is now focused on combining her knowledge of agriculture, job creation/economic development, and controlled environment agricultural business models, to launch AGROWN and its AgroDome proprietary indoor agriculture growing system.
Between 2008 and 2012, Dr. Raftery visited five countries (Australia, Canada, UK, Netherlands, and Belgium) to where there were either hydroponic growing operations and/or renewable fuels installations that would be considered for inclusion into the business model for AGROWN. She has completed the due diligence and business model creation, including proprietary IP, for the first American owned multi-region commercial scale controlled environment agriculture production system.
