Quinton Jay is a managing director of Bacchus Capital, and has over 20 years of experience running both boutique artisanal and well-known wineries. A long-term strategic consultant in the wine and finance arenas, Quinton has helped shape many wine ventures in the Napa and Sonoma counties.

At Bacchus, Quinton primarily works with the sales, operations and marketing teams of the Fund’s Wine by Joe / Dobbes Family Estate, Panther Creek and Madrigal wineries. He also plays a significant role in Bacchus’ marketing and business development.

Prior to joining Bacchus in 2009, Quinton was vice president/general manager of Artesa Vineyards and Winery, managing all aspects of the 100,000 case ultra-premium brand. Previously, he was Managing Director of Bacchus Consulting Group, an independent winery consulting firm he founded in 2001, whose major clients included Beringer Blass Wines and Estates, Etude, Quintessa and Geyser Peak Wines. He also was general manager of Bonny Doon Vineyard.

Quinton received his MBA the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University
