Jim Wilson is an expert in global and industry eBusiness standards. He has worked extensively with the chemical and agriculture industries and served in various global standardization initiatives such as the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), and The Open Applications Group, Inc. (OAGi). Currently he serves as the Executive Vice President of AgGateway Global Network, a consortia of regional AgGateway Organizations with the mission to promote, enable, and expand eAgriculture. He also leads a project series called SPADE, which began in August 2012. The SPADE project is standardizing various aspects of field operations/precision agriculture.
Jim earned a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland; and an MBA (Finance and Marketing double major) from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana.
Jim lives with his wife and three boys in Raleigh, North Carolina.
